When typing a command through a chat box, you need to start with either an “@” or a “/” before your command. For example, “/Permit [SteamID]/[Tag]” or “@Permit [SteamID]/[Tag].” All command parameters are separated by forward slashes. All time based parameters must be expressed in seconds.

 

Owner Only Commands

Commands which can be used by any admin, but that should be limited to owners only. These change Server specific settings such as Time, PvE being enabled, allowing save file syncs, etc.

Command

Syntax

Description

Bind Bind [IP] Binds a specific internal IP to the socket.
Chatrate Chatrate [Number] Assigns a minimum time between chat messages to prevent spamming.
Cycle Cycle [Number] Assigns the length of the day/night cycle in seconds.
Debug  Debug Provides information on the state of the server
Filter Filter Filters out players with non-english alphanumeric names.
Gold Gold Restricts server to only Gold players.
Loadout Loadout [SkillsetID]/[ItemID]/[ItemID]/... Give players each item when spawning. Using SkillsetID of 255 gives the item set to everyone. Can only be used in the server console or the servers Commands.dat file.
Log Log [Chat]/[Join/Leave]/[Death]/[Anticheat]

Enables logging of chat, join, leave, death, and anticheat messages. Parameters are Y or N values. 

Map Map [Level] Sets the map that the server loads on startup.
MaxPlayers MaxPlayers [Number] Sets the maximum number of connections the server is willing to accept
Mode Mode [Easy/Normal/Hard] Assigns the difficulty to the server.
Owner Owner [SteamID] Gives admin rights to a steam ID. Must also be set in the server's Commands.dat file.
Password Password [Text] Assigns the codeword required for entry to the server.
Perspective Perspective [First/Third/Both/Vehicle] Assings the perspective of the server.
Port Port [Number] Assigns the port of the server. Port +1 and port +2 are also used.
PvE PvE Toggles Player vs Player for Player vs Environment.
Queue_Size Queue_Size [Number] Sets the maximum number of queued connections to the server.
ResetConfig ResetConfig Resets the config.dat file to default values.
Save Save Forces a save of the server
Say Say [Text]/[R]/[G]/[B] Broadcasts a message to all of the connected clients
Shutdown Shutdown [Delay] Saves the server state and closes the server. 
Sync Sync Allows players to share savedata between your servers
Time Time [Number in Seconds] Assings current time
Timeout Timeout [Number in seconds] Assigns a maximum ping threshold 
Welcome Welcome [Text]/[R]/[G]/[B] Sets a chat box welcome message.

 

Player Moderation Commands

These are commands which will be useful for player moderators, for example, kicking, banning, and adding reputation.

Admin Admin [SteamID | Player] Adds the specified player to the list of administrators
Ban Ban [SteamID | Player]/[Reason]/[Duration] Bans the specified player for a reason and duration of time set by admin.
Hide_Admins Hide_Admins Admins will appear as if they are normal players. This allows recording of cinematic footage without admin labels visable to players.
Kick Kick [SteamID | Player]/[Reason] Disconnects specified player from the server.
Kill Kill [SteamID | Player] Kills the specified player ingame.
Reputation Reputation [SteamID | Player]/[Reputation] Gives a player some reputation.
Slay Slay [SteamID | Player] Kills the specified player ingame and bans then for 31,536,000 seconds (One year)
Spy Spy [SteamID | Player]  Takes a screenshot from the target player's perspective and saves it on the admin's computer as "Spy.jpg".
Unadmin Unadmin [SteamID | Player] Removes the specified player from the list of server administrators.
Votify Votify [Vote Allowed Y|N]/[Pass Cooldown]/[Fail Cooldown]/[Vote Duration]/[Minimum Vote Percentage]/[Minimum vote] Sets up voting. Pass/fail cooldown is the amount of time in seconds in which each player must wait to vote again. Vote duration specifies the duration of time that the vote remains active. Minimum vote percentage is the minimum votes percentage required for a pass, and minimum vote sets the minimum amount of people which must vote for a pass.

Flag Flag [SteamID | Player]/[Flag]/[Value] Sets a player's flag.
Help Help [Command]  Provides information on the specified command.

 

Cheats

These are commands that require the cheats command to be set to enabled to use.

Cheats Cheats [Enable | Disable] Allows your server to access cheat commands
Airdrop Airdrop Forces an airdrop on your location
Day Day Sets the current time to Day
Experience Experience [SteamID | Player]/[ItemID]/Amount Gives the specified player an item
Night Night Sets the current time to Night
Storm Storm Toggles rain
Teleport Teleport [SteamID | Player]/[SteamID | Player | Location] Teleports the first player to the second or a location. If the input is abbreviated the command will choose the player based on what name is closest alphabetically.
Vehicle Vehicile [SteamID | Player]/[VehicleID] Gives the specified player a vehicle.

 

Lists and Logs

These commands display a log of users to admins.

Admins Admins Shows a list of the current server Administrators
Bans Bans Shows a list of the current bans
Permits Permits Shows a list of users permitted to enter your whitelisted server
Players Players Shows a list of players currently logged on to your server

 

Whitelisting

These commands are used if your server has a whitelist, to activate the whitelist use the command “/Whitelisted” or “@Whitelisted” with the owner’s account.

Whitelisted Whitelisted This sets up a whitelist on your server. Only players permitted to enter may enter.
Permit Permit [SteamID]/[Tag] Adds specific player to the whitelist, must contain both SteamID and user Tag.
Unpermit Unpermit [SteamID] Removes the specific player from the whitelist.
